Beyond expression.

Here it used to be a world of monochrome, and then it gradually get more colors here.
Here's a record of some of the fragments I'd like to keep, wish they are not too wordy.
Welcome.
Here is...
Somewhere along the way I accepted that I was an extremely reluctant writer and good at losing my memory. Then I bought a camera.
I've always believed that a single image can hold memories that can be described in a thousand words. I got my first camera during my junior year of college, and now that I've lost almost all of my memories from before my junior year of college, left only a few events, so I'm lucky to have a camera to keep more pieces of my memories after that.
These days I've been thinking about how to keep and share these photos. I've tried several social media platforms but felt that the external rules would limit the expression, so I built this website to give myself more freedom.
By the way, it is a journal rather than a gallery. More documentary than esthetic. There are bound to be less-than-satisfying photos here which are also a part of the memories I cherish.
As you can see,
there used to be B&W only.
Now it's different.
I used to have an inexplicable fear of messy colors all the time. When I was learning to draw, I put almost all of my passion into sketching but had no clue about color. Just thinking about what color to use for the first stroke made me anxious. The infinite combinations of black, white and gray was "just rightly less" for me. As I grown up, I learned it was something like "choice-phobia" and began to reduce unnecessary anxiety by reducing the colors in my dailylife. Clothes, shoes, and everyday items were always in black and gray.
As life went on, I slowly moved away from such fear, though I still prefer solid colors in my closet without patterns now. The photos here will get more color, like rainbows and blue skies. I no longer go black and white with intention.
It all began since one day someone broke in and became the color of my life.
