Porto, Lisboa, Faro

Step into Portugal and head south. Cloudy and warm winters, old towns, countless monuments and museums. Everything seems to imply that this place was once so glorious, and today people still hold their romanticism.

Vlog-Portugal Impression

The architectural style of the Old Town of Porto [1] and the Old Town of Lisbon [2]. Both cities are built on slopes, and you can feel the obvious ups and downs, so you need to be prepared with the right shoes for hiking here.

A building under renovation without a roof. A large number of construction sites can be found in Porto and Lisbon.

Whether it's Porto or Lisbon, the difference in elevation of the terrain makes for staggered streets. When turning from a corner, the landscape of the city can be seen.

Vintage trams are a sight to see in Lisbon.

There are invisible boundaries in Lisbon; to the west is the New Town of white people, with new buildings and clean streets; Going further east, there are districts for East Asians, Indian-Middle Eastern, and the black people, which are denser in terms of buildings and more garbage on the streets. Although there are no clear boundaries, anyone who crosses Lisbon on foot from east to west will feel the strong gaps and divides.

Some favored house doors. They will be painted in bright colors and become the most striking sight on the street.

In contrast to this is another Portuguese specialty: wall graffiti. Old towns are full of abandoned houses on the street, which makes them a haven for graffiti. Older houses that are not on the street are usually left unattended.
