What does Dyno mean?
The original meaning of Dyno is “Dynamic”. “D” and “Y” are both included in my Chinese and English name. “no” is not only a meaningless suffix, but also represent a state of my mind: constant self-denial in the pursuit of relief and change.
Is it necessary to build a website?
Not necessary before you escape from social media.
I gave up "playing my role" on social media and got tired of having to compromise with the rules of socialization. I needed a space where I could record anything with my own will.
The website is SLOW!
Since the budget limits, I did not use a fast server.
Instead, I am trying to increase quality of images and readability of the whole site.
Why less colored photos here?
(Updated 2023) Previously this site only had monochrome photos, but now I want to strike a balance between mono and color. For me, monochrome leads to storytelling while color leads to beauty.
What is your style?
None, I guess.
However, why and how a picture is framed must contain the creator's thoughts and emotions, even if I am not realized or intent to do so.
Anything you want to try in the future?
Mono photography will naturally lead to a passion of film. Will do more experiments about film this year if any chance. (2021)
Focusing on something that the mainstream media will not pay attention to or even avoid. In this perspective, photography is some sort of rebellion against the propaganda machine. (2022)

After a trip to Japan, I found that I'm not so much tired of travelogues but tired of the homogenized consumerism in the domestic area. (2023)
