Hometown

My hometown is a typical northeastern city in China -- factories, coal mines, aging. And what I've documented here is what I've seen of it, mostly views located within my neighborhood.

Xiamen-Gulangyu Island

I avoided all the stores on the Gulangyu island and rushed straight to the beach, feeling the blowing sea breeze on the rocks. It had been so long since I saw the sea for the first time.

Tokyo, Niigata, Osaka

When I came to Japan for a week, my biggest impression was that it was "very clean, except for Akihabara in Tokyo and Shinsaibashi in Osaka". After arriving here, some of these stereotypes were shattered - the Shinkansen can be a few hours late, and the streets of Tokyo can be littered with garbage.

This is where my new life begins. Linköping has a very beautiful Chinese translation as ”林雪平“ (the pronunciation, which means "Woods, Snow, and Peace".

Stockholm is a very walkable city for sightseeing. You can find a lot of surprises here, such as pigeons, the Old Town, and the Kiki's House.
